Who we are

  • Noora grew up in the heart of Finnish Lapland, where the vast Arctic wilderness was her backyard and the northern lights a frequent visitor. She began her guiding career in Levi in 2014, introducing visitors to the thrill of the Arctic through snowmobile adventures and immersive group experiences. In 2019, a bold move took her to Longyearbyen, Svalbard, where she began guiding on the waters of the High Arctic. This journey sparked a new chapter, leading her to the world of expedition cruising and kayaking in the Polar Regions.

Now, with years of experience spanning the Arctic and Antarctica, Noora is passionate about sharing these awe-inspiring places with those who seek more than just a journey. Her goal is to create meaningful connections between her guests and nature—moments that go beyond the ordinary and embrace the wonder and fragility of our planet’s wildest places.

  • Raised in Santiago, Chile, his heart is deeply tied to the misty forests and rivers of Valdivia in southern Chile. Initially trained as an architect, his career took him around the world, but in 2018, the call of the wild became irresistible. He decided to exchange blueprints for charts and maps, embarking on a new chapter as an expedition guide.

His guiding journey began in the remote Patagonian fjords of Tierra del Fuego and along the dramatic coastlines of Cape Horn. This path soon carried him to the great polar regions. In the Arctic, he guides expeditions across Svalbard, Greenland, and Canada’s High Arctic. In Antarctica, he navigates the awe-inspiring landscapes of the Antarctic Peninsula. In the sub-Antarctic region, he continues to explore the untamed beauty of the Chilean fjords and South Georgia, where his connection to the wilderness runs deep.

His approach to guiding is centered on genuine connection—both with the extraordinary places he explores and the people he shares them with. Through storytelling and interpretation, he brings the natural history, wildlife, and culture of each region to life, offering guests a deeper understanding of the landscapes they experience. For him, every expedition is more than a journey; it’s an opportunity to inspire wonder, foster respect for our planet’s most remote corners, and encourage a deeper appreciation for these wild and extraordinary places.
